<scp>GeoGraphViz</scp>: Geographically constrained 3D force‐directed graph for knowledge graph visualization

Knowledge graphs are a key technique for linking and integrating cross-domain data, concepts, tools, knowledge to enable data-driven analytics. As much of the world's data have become massive in size, visualizing graph entities their interrelationships intuitively interactively has crucial task ingesting better utilizing content support semantic reasoning, discovering hidden discovering, scientific understanding geophysical social phenomena. Despite fact that many such phenomena (e.g., disasters) clear spatial footprints geographic properties, location information is considered only as textual label existing visualization limiting capability reveal geospatial distribution patterns nodes. In addition, most techniques rely on 2D visualization, which constrains dimensions can be presented lacks structure examination from multiple angles. To tackle above challenges, we developed novel 3D map-based algorithm interactive exploration spatially explicit manner. The extends force directed by web map, an additional geolocational force, balancing variable allows dynamic adjustment layout. This mechanism helps create balanced view between forces among nodes attractive geolocation node. Our solution offers new perspective events graph.
